I always love Fridays because, well, what sort of freak doesn't get excited about the weekend? But today I am REALLY excited. It's my last Friday working! Starting next week I am cutting back to four days a week. I hesitate to call it part time because with meetings, bringing work home, etc., I'll probably still be working at least 40 hours. But Fridays! Not in the office! So happy.
I started off this morning with a great swim. I am already starting to notice improvements and am feeling really encouraged about the triathlon. After work, Sophie and I are headed to the cities to hang out with my mom and my aunt, who is in town visiting. And Sunday, I'll be in St. Paul for the Human Race 8k. Have a great weekend!

Hi Heather,
Did you just say that swimming is getting easier and you see improvements? That is so good:) You are really going to surprise yourself with your first Tri!!
I am thinking about running the Human 8k too!! Several people from the running group are doing it. The only thing is that if I do it, I will be racing four weeks in a row!!
I am not ready for Earth Day. I actually a little nervous because my last half didn't go so well. Are you planning on using a pacer?
Have a great weekend...maybe I will see you Sunday at St. Thomas:)
I'm so jealous!!! Enjoy!!!
I might run the Human Race...didn't realize it was already this weekend!
Congrats on your new schedule! Oh, have fun at the Human Race. We did it last year and would be doing it again if we were in town for it. It's a lot of fun and attracts a lot of good runners. Maybe next year.
Fridays off is heaven...and sounds like a great weekend on tap for you, enjoy it!
Awesome! Less time AT work always feels more freeing. I don't work on Fridays either, and even though I'm plenty busy on those days, it still feels so much better!
I love Fridays off. Good for you!
