A sure sign that the weather has finally turned - I wore capris for my early morning run this morning. No more (hopefully) digging around to fnd my winter pants and long sleeves. And my after work run today was down right hot - 80 degrees according to the bank sign. Funny how last week I refused to run because it was raining, and tonight I was hoping for rain. Oh how things can change in just a week.
Speaking of last week, better get the training recap up before this week is over:
Monday: 3 miles easy (am), 4 miles track (pm)
Tuesday: 1 hr kettlebells
Wednesday: 1000 m. swim
Thursday: 30 min. yoga
Friday: 1400 m. swim (and swim distance PR!)
Saturday: 13 miles
Sunday: 35 min. yoga & kettlebell & core mish mash
So, other than the whole only running two days thing, not too bad of a week. Planning on definitely getting some more runs in this week!

I'm impressed that you manage to work out daily! Good job!!
Gotta love spring weather! It was chilly and rainy here today and I was glad I didn't need to run.
Wow...you are awesome with your cross training!!!
I have been wearing my capris too...love them!
As bizarre as it sounds, I managed only 1 run a week before the Green Bay 1/2 and granted I run super slow but I felt strong the entire run.
I know the "heavy" kettlebell training I'm engaged in right now had a huge part in my endurance. Sometimes "less" is "more" with training!
Don't fret
BTW.....Lambeau Field was such a runner's high....I'm still floating!
That will definitely be done again next year and so on and so on and so on!
Good week...nice swim! good to have a week with some lighter mileage...

I ran in my running skirt this morning and it was indeed lovely to feel the air against my bare legs! I'm so glad I can put those ugly tights away.

I hate to say it, but I miss pants weather already! I like cool weather running. Maybe not blizzards, but cool I like.
I had packed away my winter things two weeks ago, and then last weekend, need them for an early morning run! Aiirrgh. But it was all ok, I survived and wasn't really cold -- just chilly.
Nice job this week, don't stress about the days of running, you've got lots in the bank!
I am as fickle as you with the weather - I was dying on Saturday in the heat and last night it rained and I refused to run in it and went to the gym! LOL!
Ugh, and I accidently deleted your email yesterday! Can you email again with your email? I'm such a duff!
Yay for bare legs!! Great job on the running, girl - you just keep going and going!
I love being able to wear shorts again!!
It has been so nice out the last couple days:) All that I can say is...it is about time!
Nice work this week Heather!
I'm so thankful it's spring. This winter was waaaay too long.
yay! i think i am officially in shorts now too :)
I think your training week looks great! 80 degree are you serious? I'll take 10 degrees over that anyday. Ugh.
Hey Heather. Are you getting excited about Madison? Feeling ready?? I can't wait to run this!!!
love bare legs weather. it is funny, all winter I can't wait for the warm weather, then two days of sweaty runs ... I am all it's too hot!
What a great week! I agree about the weather. I was really missing the sun but 80 is a little too hot!
Great job on the running!
The weather is surely getting warmer. You sure are diversified in your workouts.
Just a little bit longer to Madison. The weather report is looking like it my be pretty warm.
Hooray for bare legs! Love the warmer weather for morning runs. That's a good week of working out every day. Good for you! Happy Thursday!
