Just Call Me Well Rested

Last Tuesday, after Good Heather prevailed and I got my swim on, I also ran 3 miles at lunch and then went to kettlebells class at night. And then Wednesday I proceeded to get my puke on. For FIVE days. Yep, five days of the stomach flu. Which was super fun. So no Earth Day 1/2 Marathon for me. I was supposed to leave at 6:30 Saturday morning to head over to St. Cloud. Instead, I puked at 6:30.

After sleeping basically all day yesterday, I am finally feeling better. Although dragging myself to court in three different counties wore me out today. But tomorrow? It's Tuesday again, so Good Heather will be back at the pool dark and early.

Congrats to all the Boston runners - you all are amazing and inspire me!

Yikes! That's aggressive! Glad you are back to being "good Heather!!" Sorry you missed your half - good call to skip it though...can you even imagine running 13.1 feeling that sick?? Eek.

That stomach bug must go around all over the country. I miss a race 2 weeks ago and was out for 3 days. I hope you are feeling better today!

No better way to say it except...that SUCKS big time. 5 days of the pukes-haven't seen that since pregnancy days!
Glad to hear you're on the mend-a couple of good snatches will make you feel better!

I'm so sorry that you missed the Earth Day Half! I was looking for you but everyone was so bundled up I thought maybe I just didn't spot you. I hope you are feeling better and that you will be toeing the line at the next race.
