Waiting

I'm waiting for Garmin Connect to decide it wants to upload my latest activities. And by latest, I mean everything from the entire month of May and June so far. Guess it's been a while . . . maybe my own fault that the website isn't cooperating?

I'm waiting for my mom and my sister to get here so we can all go on a long(ish) bike ride together. I've been building up the bike miles slowly, mostly to get Sophie used to riding. But I've got the 50-mile tour (call it a tour, not a race) in September so I want to start adding on the miles.

I'm also waiting to get re-acclimated to summer running. I ran 8 miles yesterday (started at 8:30 a.m.), and even though the temps were only in the mid-60's, it was hot! Kind of humid, and the sun was very warm. Note to self: get out of bed earlier.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Good luck with the Garmin. I spend most of my downloading time frustrated.

I'm so not ready for warm weather running, but I'm having to suck it up and do it.

I find Garmin Connect pretty good for uploading compared to Motionbased (what it was before). Hope the bike ride went well, I'd love to do a 50 miler one day! :)

I think that 8:30 is early! I am awful in the morning...even in the hot summer I never seem to make it out the door before 9:30 and then I suffer through the heat. :( I guess I will just never learn. :)

60's is nice and cool when you are walking but can be hellish when you're running!

Enjoy the biking.

I finally gave up on Garmin Connect & just keep everything on my laptop & hardcode the stuff into buckeyeoutdoors. How lame is that?

I hear you on having to get up earlier. It's sooo hard to get out of bed though!

The bike tour sounds like fun! I think we all are working on getting use to the heat again.

I'm also struggling to adjust to the heat/sun... it makes me feel so sluggish. Looks like early wake-up calls!

Hope you had a nice bike ride.
