Tuesday Treats

I love my Tuesday workouts. Usually I run in the morning (skipped this morning because my husband is in the Boundary Waters and apparently three years old is a little young to stay home alone). But my favorite part of Tuesday is my evening workout - kettlebells class followed by a 10 mile easy bike ride. Kettlebells completely wipes me out, so much so that my arms have a hard time holding myself up on the bike. The bike ride is a great way to cool down from kettlebells, plus we are enjoying some beautiful late summer evening weather and it is so nice to soak it up.

See? I don't always bitch about the weather. Just November through May.

Speaking of November, I just booked tickets to Denver to visit my brother over Thanksgiving. That will give me something to look forward to as we enter the season which shall not be named.

Winter! I can't wait for winter. When the temperatures dip down into the low 50's and upper 40's. Maybe teasing me with a high in the 30's. I love winter...in Houston!

I'm a fan of winter, but it's a bit warmer here. ;o)

One of these days I'll find a convenient kettlebell class to try...

I'm getting ready for winter! This is MY favorite time of the year...September-May!
The only bad part thing about this time of year is how "cold" the handle of my kettlebell can get!!

come to Florida! where we only have 1.5 seasons. Summer and Not-Quite-Summer. LOL!

I have a hard time holding myself on the bike all the time. No wait, I have the opposite problme. Kung fu death grip!

The evenings have been wonderful lately, haven't they?? :) Yay for great workouts! :) Interested in an organized 20-23 mile run 3 weeks before TCM? LTF is doing their thing again this year where we meet at the finish line (Sears pkg lot) and they bus us to the desired spot on the course and we run to the end, complete with water stops. I plan on it so let me know if you want more info!

I hope the weather will cooperate come Thanksgiving so you don't have any travel woes!

I'm definitely not a fan of the W season, but I have been enjoying the cooler temps we've had the past few days.

The weather is beautiful right now! Kettlebells followed by a bike ride does sound like quite an arm workout. Hope you get to do it next week and that you have good weather.
